Five!

Today is Reese's 5th birthday!

I cannot believe how fast time as flown since she was born. She is super excited about being 5 now. She gets to start school in the fall, she can use one whole hand to tell everyone how old she is and a few of her good friends in the neighborhood have turned 5 in the past few months and she is excited to be 5 with them.

Reese is a beautiful girl who adores everything girlie. She loves make-up, painting nails, and clothes. She is a great big sister. She is really smart and very helpful to her mommy and daddy.

Merry Christmas

We are not sending out actual Christmas cards this year, but we wanted to wish you all, our dear friends and family, Merry Christmas! We hope you all have a wonderful holiday and we wish you all the best for the coming year!

Halloween Fun

We had a fun Halloween weekend with family. The kids carved their pumpkins with dad and went Trick or Treating with their cousins.

I think I definitely had the cutest Hello Kitty and most adorable Buzz Lightyear.

Pumpkin Patch Trip

This weekend we made our annual trip to a pumpkin patch. The kids had a great time picking out their pumpkins and helping mom and dad pick theirs as well.

Wyatt and Reese had so much fun climbing on this huge pumpkin, how could a kid resist.

We couldn't leave without a ride in the wagon.

Don't they look so cute...now if I could just figure out how to freeze them in their current state.

Dinosaur fun...

Yesterday we had to take advantage of Thanksgiving Points last Tuesday of $2 admission. So we went to the dinosaur museum. Reese got to bring her friend Jonas. They all had so much fun and at the end even got to dig for dinosaur bones.

No more training wheels....

This weekend one of the training wheels on Reese's little bike broke off and we told her that she had to learn how to Ride without them now. She felt pretty good about that so we immediately helped her learn. Within 10 minutes she was riding all on her own WITHOUT any help. She absolutely Loves that she doesn't have training wheels anymore. Vince and I could not be more PROUD of her, she was so brave and she didn't whine, complain, argue or anything when learning. I can't believe how fast she is growing up!!!

Sewing project #3

I have really found that I like sewing and enjoy it even more when I get to make things for my kids that they have fun with. I made these cute aprons for my kids and they have been having fun wearing them around the house and making sure they have them on when we are making dinner.

Wyatt update

I thought it was time to give a little update on this cute dude of mine. He has really grown up alot in the past month. He is becoming more and more independant everday. He has been doing speech therapy since October and he is really starting to speak new words everyday. He is still not saying most of his words correctly but he is doing better all the time. He is such a good boy and I'm really grateful he is mine! :) He is obsessed with his dad (which boy out there isn't), adores and looks up to his sister, and is my little snuggle bug. We love you Wyatt and are so proud of you!!!

Family Day...

Today for the holiday we took the kids up to Temple Square to walk around and see the all the beautiful flowers. The kids had so much fun and were perfect angels. They had fun watching the family movie and learning all about the temple. It was a great end to a nice holiday weekend.

Reese's preschool

Reese had a very fun preschool experience over the past 4 months. She was kind of sad that it was over last week but she was so glad she was able to go. She will for sure miss her favorite person, Miss Morgan. Here is a recap of the things she has been up to at preschool.

Sewing projects #2

I am starting to get the hang of this whole sewing thing. Here are the two blankets I made last night. The poka dot one is for my new, soon to be born, nephew and the green one is for Reese.

Home Again

Last week the kids and I were able to go out to Portland, OR to see my littlest brother come home from his mission to Prague, Czech Republic. We were so happy to be there when he came home and be there for his mission home coming at church and huge party after. We love you Kyle and can't wait to see you again soon!!!
