I can actually sew...

I usual try to find projects that don't require any sewing. And I am a little embarrased to admit this, but I have owned a sewing machine now for 4 years and tonight was the first time taking it out of the box.
My mom and I had bought this material to make Reese a skirt last spring and now a year later I finally decided to make it. With some help from my new friend Emily I was able to sew this skirt together. I also even had some extra fabric left over to make Reese a cute matching fabric flower headband.
The fun part was that while making the said skirt I found that sewing was kind of fun, so maybe that sewing machine will get to be out of it's box again soon!

Don't leave home without it...

Mr. Wyatt cannot go anywhere or do anything without his beloved blanket.
He can always be found with it in hand and he often drags it behind him as he goes about his daily activities, even sometimes along the ground outside.
Needless to stay it has to be washed often.
But he reminds me of the cute Peanuts character, Linus.
Anything to make this cute little guy a happy guy.

Great Afternoon...

These are the Friday afternoons that I really enjoy. The kids and I don't have anywhere we need to be and we just get to stay home and play. So we had a treat of "colored" vanilla ice cream with sprinkles on top. We did bubbles inside, since it was cold and snowy outside. Then we watched a movie. I love just doing simple things with my kids and seeing them laugh and smile, definitely nothing better.
Wyatt picked blue. (probably because it is the only color he can say)
Reese's favorite color, everything has to be green.

Gotta love popping those bubbles.

Wyatt is still working on his bubble blowing skills.

Organize?

Lately I have been feeling rather disorganized and almost a little scatter brained. I think lately I have felt like I'm just making it through each day getting the bare minimum done.
This is a new thing for me because I typically am very organized with my time and with my house. My family always makes fun of me because I always have things planned out months in advance and I'm very much a person that has a place for everything and everything is always in it's place.
My goal for the month of March is be more organized with my time and with my home. So I want to know what you all do to stay organized, I need some ideas here.
