My little man...

This little boy of mine had a well-baby check today and he was so good, he only cried for a minute when he got his shots. What a brave little boy. And when I mean little I mean, LITTLE. He only weighs 22 lbs and is 32 inches long (barely on the chart for his age). The sad thing is that the cute binka in his mouth is going bye bye, it is shifting his jaw and he has quite the over bite...he is going to be so sad. Hopefully it will help him figure out talking since the only word he ever says is mama.
I love my Mr. Wyatt, he is definitely my little buddy.

Kitty Reese Cup...

I have been thinking alot about Reese and being her mother. It is amazing to me how much I love her more everyday and also she seems to find ways to drive me crazy everyday. She definitely has quite the personality and I fear that I seem to have given her much of it. The words I can find to best describe her are: sassy, stubborn, inquisitive, curious, headstrong, fearless, insistant, bold, social, and sweet. It is amazing to me that all of these things can all be part of such a little person. I'm still trying to figure out how to reel her in, but I'm starting to think that I just need to keep loving her and keep teaching her the gospel and she will be just fine. We recently moved to Eagle Mountain and we don't really know many people out here but Reese is teaching me to be bold, outgoing and meet people. Just yesterday she saw that one of our neighbors had a little girl her age so she walked herself over there, knocked on the door and asked to play. (Don't worry I have talked to the little girls mother and knew she would be safe in their home). She has recently started dance class and it is really cute to watch her. I have asked her what she wants to be when she grows up and she always says a rock star....and a ballerina. We shall see...
I asked Reese if I could take a picture of her before dance class and this is what I got, little stinker.

Reese is taking tap, tumbling, and ballet. It is really fun watching her.

Reese doing a roll down the mat, I think she likes the tumbling the best.

At the end her teacher tells the girls to pretend they are princesses dancing with their prince,

it is pretty dang cute.

Project #2

My parents gave us these coffee tables and I thought they would look good painted black for a different look. Vince is a lover of unpainted wood but I think they look very nice! I'm really glad I painted them and thank you Katie for letting me use your garage to paint them.

getting something done...

I had this urge today to get something done. I decided to recover the cushions on our stools. Due to my messy children I decided that I would cover the fabric in plastic for easy cleaning. I think it turned out pretty cool and was surprisingly easy and inexpensive to do. Eventually I think I will paint the stools but for now it works.

I finally have a camera again to take pictures, yeah!
